Tania Kleynhans was born in South Africa, and enjoyed a life of travel as a safari guide in Southern and East Africa. During this time her love for painting developed and the photos from her travels were used as subject matter for many of her African Wildlife artwork. 

After many years, a major change in her life lead to moving to the States and following a completely different career path. Although currently working as a Remote Sensing Scientist, her joy in painting has not changed and she has taken up other subjects and challenges. Recently, due to her love for the outdoors, she is venturing into the plein-air painting world.

Tania has always enjoyed working with oil on canvas, as most of her work shows.
